Costs & Fees
Holina Village offers shared room accommodation from €9,350/month (+ VAT). This is all-inclusive — accommodation, meals, clinical sessions, group therapy, adventure activities, farm activities, and airport transfers. Pre-payment discounts are available: 5% off two months paid upfront, or 15% off three months paid upfront. Personal spending money is the only additional cost.
The minimum stay is 4 weeks. However, we strongly recommend a stay of at least 12 weeks to achieve meaningful, lasting recovery. Research consistently shows that longer treatment durations lead to significantly better outcomes.
If psychiatric services are required during your treatment, an additional fee of €4,200 per month applies. This is not charged automatically — our clinical team will assess the need during intake and inform you clearly before any additional charges are applied.
We are a private-pay facility. We do not bill insurance directly, but we can provide detailed invoices and clinical documentation that some families use to seek reimbursement from their insurer. We recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to understand your policy's coverage for residential treatment abroad.
Yes. A deposit is required to confirm your admission date. Our admissions team will provide full details during the enquiry process, including payment terms and what happens if plans change.
Personal Spending
We recommend a modest amount of personal spending money for incidentals — toiletries, phone credit, or small personal items. Our admissions team will advise on a reasonable budget during the pre-admission process. Large amounts of cash are not recommended.
Phone and internet access is managed as part of the therapeutic programme. During the early stage of treatment, limited access helps residents focus on their recovery. Access is gradually reintroduced in a structured way as treatment progresses. Our team will explain this in detail before admission.
We provide a full packing list during the pre-admission process. Generally, residents should bring comfortable clothing suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities, personal toiletries, any prescribed medication (clearly labelled), and any comfort items such as books or journals. Our team will advise on anything that is not permitted.
Travel & Arrival
Holina Village is based in Cyprus. Cyprus is well connected to major European hubs, with direct flights from the UK, Europe, and the Middle East into Larnaca and Paphos airports. Our admissions team can provide precise location details and directions during the onboarding process.
Yes. Our team can advise on the best routes and airports to use. For families who require it, we can also help coordinate airport transfers to the facility. Please raise this with our admissions team during your enquiry.
On arrival, new residents are met by a member of the team who will show them around the campus, introduce them to other residents, and help them settle in. A clinical intake assessment takes place shortly after arrival to begin tailoring the treatment plan.
Safety & Support
Yes. Staff are present at Holina Village 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The safety and well-being of every resident is our highest priority, and our team is trained to respond to any situation that may arise.
We have clear protocols in place for medical emergencies. Our team includes clinical staff trained in first response, and we maintain relationships with local medical services. In the event of a serious medical situation, residents are transferred to appropriate local healthcare facilities immediately.
Holina Village operates as a structured residential programme. Unescorted off-campus activity is not permitted in the early stages of treatment. As residents progress and demonstrate readiness, supervised off-campus activities are incorporated. All leave is planned in consultation with the clinical team.
Our team works hard to address any concerns that arise during treatment. If a resident wishes to leave, we engage in an open conversation with them and, where appropriate, their family, to understand why and to explore alternatives. Ultimately, treatment is voluntary, and no one is held against their will. Our admissions team can discuss our policy in full before admission.
Family Involvement
Family visits are encouraged as part of the recovery process, but are structured and planned in advance with the clinical team. The timing and frequency of visits depends on where the resident is in their treatment. Our family therapy programme also keeps families actively involved throughout.
Scheduled phone contact with family is part of our programme. As with in-person visits, the frequency is structured to support the therapeutic process rather than interrupt it. Our admissions team will explain exactly what to expect during the intake process.
Family communication is subject to the resident's consent. Our clinical team provides regular updates and includes families in key decisions wherever appropriate.
Aftercare
Every resident leaves with a tailored aftercare plan developed with their clinical team. This includes recommendations for ongoing therapy, support groups, and any additional services relevant to their situation. Our team remains accessible after discharge and can provide referrals to appropriate professionals in the resident's home country.
Yes. Our commitment to residents does not end on discharge day. We maintain contact with alumni and their families, and we encourage residents to reach out if they need support. The strength of our therapeutic community extends beyond the walls of Holina Village.
